Shannon Hayden focuses her practice on representing businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters and other civil disputes.

Ms. Hayden joined Kagan Stern as an Associate in 2021.  She represents clients in a variety of complex business, fiduciary, and employment matters.  Her experience includes shareholder and derivative disputes, real estate and property litigation, fiduciary disputes involving trusts, and construction matters, among other types of claims.

Ms. Hayden graduated magna cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2020.  While in law school, she served as a Production Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review, a student attorney in the Bronfein Family Law Clinic, and a Research Assistant to Professors John Bessler and Shanta Trivedi.

Prior to entering private practice, Ms. Hayden completed a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Cathleen M. Vitale of the Anne Arundel County Circuit Court.  As a clerk for Judge Vitale, Ms. Hayden worked on a wide variety of complex civil and criminal cases.
